The Challenge:
Rebranding of a popular Midwest music venue as it transcends into a world-renowned live jazz brand and landmark. When we met with the owner, David Allee whose task seemed very straight forward: "I want a website that shows its audience and guests the experience of The Jazz Kitchen.”

The strategy:
As the art director for The Jazz Kitchen, I built the website with my dedicated team of developers, crafted the design system based on existing data, and helped create a standout site experience.
Website re-Design for one of the best-known live jazz venues in the Mid-West and world-known Jazz Landmark, The Jazz Kitchen was a task that took month to research, plan and deliver to the standards of all us us who are big fans of this landmark institution.

The payoff:
After months of strategy discussions, research, and reviewing and analyzing 25+ years of Google®Analytics data, we arrived at a long list of "must-haves," a gorgeous photoshoot, a customized template, and a robust launch campaign to go live this fall.


The spring photoshoot was even more inspired as the space was in the middle of renovations. The energy and eagerness to pivot into something grand was reflected in the staff, the ingredients and the musicians themselves.


The plan to promote the launch includes a social media, radio and print campaign.
