Overview

Access as a Right: Inclusive, bilingual architecture for community health and equity.

Services

  • Inclusive Web Development: Designing a robust, ADA-compliant digital ecosystem that prioritizes ease of use for all age groups.
  • Multilingual Architecture: Full integration of Spanish and English views to dismantle the linguistic barriers that keep residents from vital support.
  • Strategic Information Architecture: Organizing complex state and local resources into a user-centric “Knowledge Center” tailored for Elders, Youth, and Caregivers.
  • Impact Storytelling & Visualization: Translating field data from Equity Action Labs (EALs) into compelling digital narratives and potential Power BI dashboards.
  • UX/UI Coordination: Leading cross-functional teams (Techforce Global, DYEPES) to ensure a seamless “Human-First” interface.

In Brief

The Center for Thriving Communities (C4TC), backed by the Florida Blue Foundation and UF Health, exists to ensure every Floridian has the opportunity to prosper. However, a significant gap remained: the residents who needed support most—due to language, age, or socioeconomic barriers—were the least able to find it. FG Studios was tasked with building the “Virtual Home” for this mission. We didn’t build a new brand; we built a life-line tool that takes existing resources and makes them accessible, culturally relevant, and navigable for those whom the system typically overlooks.

What We Did

  • Engineered the “Knowledge Center”: Developed a specialized resource hub for Phase 1 focusing on Mental Health, with dedicated pathways for children, young adults, and seniors.
  • Dismantled Cultural Roadblocks: Implemented Google Translation and ADA compliance protocols to ensure that age and language were no longer barriers to entry.
  • Digitized Community Impact: Transformed reports from Equity Action Labs (EALs)—such as Black maternal health (M3) and youth wellness (CCR)—into an interactive “Impact Gallery”.
  • Strategic Project Management: Served as the lead orchestrator between multiple technical vendors and the client, managing a complex timeline from Draft 1 to a 05/09 launch.
  • Designed for Vulnerability: Prioritized UX that addresses “persistent toxic stress,” creating a calming, intuitive interface that supports families in crisis.

Impact & Results

Our work turned a “statewide center” into a tangible utility for thousands of neighbors across Florida.

  • Full-Scale Accessibility: Successfully deployed a bilingual, mobile-optimized site that met the strict needs of Florida’s diverse demographics.
  • Resource Unification: Consolidated over 110 critical resource files into a searchable, intuitive Knowledge Center.
  • Phase 2 Ready: Established the foundation for future expansions, including LMS platforms for deeper community training and Power BI reporting.
  • Empowered Partnerships: Provided a digital stage for partners like the Guatemalan-Maya Center to reach the community directly.

Why It Matters

The C4TC project proves that FG Studios understands that Design is a tool for Equity. By focusing on the “Socio-Economically Limited” resident, we didn’t just build a website; we built a more fair and healthy Florida. This project stands as our blueprint for how micro-agencies can manage large-scale, socially critical digital infrastructure.
